Ms. Lowe’s professional career has been a dynamic journey spanning
35 years of Fortune 500 marketing and the
creation and management of two niche businesses.
Heather's current venture, heather
lowe D E S I G N, capitalizes on many aspects of her diverse
experience. Originally focused on decorative digital graphics,
her company now concentrates on exterior enhancements for commercial
and industrial buildings. Ms. Lowe's primary interest is to
elevate the general public's urban experience with new uses of color
and visual design on existing buildings and structures.
Heather
is a native of Westchester County, New York. She is a graduate of
the University of Wisconsin and holds a Bachelor of
Science Degree from the School of Human Ecology: Department of
Environment, Textiles and Design. She majored in Related
Art/Interior Design which included studies in art history and
20th century architectural design.
Her
professional career began at the leading interior design firm
Burge-Donghia in NYC. Ms. Lowe's interest soon shifted to
marketing consumer goods. This launched her 20year (12 at
executive level) career in advertising, marketing and
product development at American Home Products, Carter-Wallace,
Germaine Monteil, Revlon and Nordstrom. In addition, she founded
the successful manufacturing business H.L. Whitingham™.
Heather is a passionate advocate
for the Seattle region and is involved with numerous non-profit
organizations.
